Celebration of George Leslie Mackay

Every year, I always enjoy cohosting the George Leslie Mackay Celebration at Queen’s Park with the Taiwanese community. Mackay was born and raised near Embro, travelled to Taiwan as a Presbytarian missionary in 1871, and made the island his home. You can learn more about him in my statement in the Legislature above.
