I had the chance to visit Makkink Flower Farm last week and appreciated the warm welcome from Marcel and Hilde. It was great to get a look at the farm and hear more about the work they’re doing.
The place is impressive. You can walk the rows, take your time, and cut your own bouquet, which is a great way to slow down and enjoy the space. It’s a hands-on kind of place that makes you appreciate the work behind it all. Well worth a visit if you’re passing through.
